About Improve Your Run

Improve Your Run provides coaching for runners who want to improve their fitness, technique, or race times. I train runners at distances from 2K to the Marathon, with a specialist focus on the 5K and Parkrun.
Alongside 1‑to‑1 coaching in Greater Manchester, I offer a range of online coaching plans for runners who prefer remote support. These can be found on the Pricing page.

The Coach
I’m Greg, a Manchester‑based running coach working with runners both locally and online through Improve Your Run. I have a Degree in Sport Science with Coaching, and the UK Athletics LIRF and CIRF qualifications. I’m an active club runner with experience across events from the 800m on the track to the Marathon on the road.
Although I coach a range of distances, I specialise in 5K and Parkrun performance. I’ve completed almost 100 Parkruns, with 28 finishes between 18–19 minutes and a personal best of 17:40. This experience helps me understand exactly what it takes to run your best over 5K.
